About Our Products

Amalgam Invites uses the "materials vs. methods" credo to create our beautiful stationary. We start by choosing a material which we find compelling and design our stationary around it. We don't make our papers and embellishment fit into a prefabricated idea of what stationary should look like. It is for this reason that our products stand out.

There is nothing quite as elegant and unique as well-crafted handmade stationary. No two are exactly alike and they don't have that assembly line feel of machine made cards and invitations. But it comes at a price. Don't expect to cut corners in your event budget by going with handmade products. Choose them for their beauty and for their reflection of excellence. You won't find $1.50 invitations at our store. We simply cannot make them to our standards for that little money. If your budget is tight, we can suggest other suppliers of machine made cards and invitations that we feel stand above the crowd.

ABOUT CUSTOMIZING

We offer as many paper, colour, and font choices for each of our designs as can be reasonably managed. We cannot, however, offer further customizing of any of our designs. Our prices cover only a fraction of the actual design time that it took to come up with each design line. With sales volume, eventually we will recoup those costs. To tinker with an existing line would add hundreds of dollars to the price of your order, so please, no changes and no substitutions. If you have a very clear idea of what you want, we can suggest design firms who will work with you to create a custom design from the ground up. We hope to add this service in the future as well, but we presently cannot accomodate it.
